2024 Visit To Hannover: Strengthening Connections And Exploring Titanium Applications

Apr 15, 2024

In 2024, our team visited Hannover for a productive trip, reconnecting with long-time clients and expanding our knowledge of titanium's evolving role across various industries. One notable highlight was our meeting with a French client for whom we previously manufactured a railway crack detector. The outer shell of this product was made from Grade 2 titanium, a material chosen not only for its durability but also for its aesthetic quality. This product posed significant challenges in both machining and welding, but what truly stood out was the client's demand for a flawless sandblasted surface finish, comparable to the precision of a fine art piece. It was a true testament to the level of craftsmanship we bring to every project.

At the trade fair, we also took the opportunity to visit other exhibitors and discuss the expanding use of titanium beyond its traditional industries like oil & gas, metallurgy, aerospace, and medical fields. Titanium is now being utilized in cutting-edge technologies such as space exploration, underwater robotics, and even hydrogen storage for renewable energy. It was an eye-opening experience to delve into these advanced applications and learn more about the future of titanium.

Throughout the event, we engaged with several clients who were interested in understanding the advantages of titanium in their specific fields. The conversations included many insightful technical discussions, and we are excited to explore how we can further support their projects.

In addition to our focus on titanium, we are also pleased to announce that we have begun supplying Nickel 200 pipes to multiple suppliers across Europe. This addition to our product offerings is a step forward in meeting the growing demand for high-quality materials in various industries.

Looking ahead to 2025, we're excited to participate in more European trade fairs and continue to foster collaborations. We look forward to engaging with industry leaders and experts, expanding our knowledge of titanium, and exploring new possibilities for precision machining.
